TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
The owner of the rental accommodation, Aghinish Rocks, is Emer
Feerick, hereby referred to as the "Host" and
Aughinish Rocks and its surrounds is hereby referred to as the "Property".
All guests making a reservation are hereby collectively referred
to as the "Client"
A booking deposit of €250.00 is required to reserve the
Property. The balance is taken 5 days prior to
arrival. Both deposit and balance are transferable but are
non-refundable when cancellation is made within 5 days of
arrival.
*It is strongly advised that clients take out holiday insurance
to cover the possibility of cancellation charges*
Electricity, oil and solid fuel used for heating and lighting
are included for the period of the reservation.
The Property must be left as it is found and
the cost of repairs to or the replacement of the
Property will be the responsibility of the
Client. A security deposit of €500.00 may be requested
by the Host on arrival. This will be returned
provided the Host is satisfied that the terms
and conditions of rental have been complied with. In the event
that the Host is unable to check the
Property at the Client's departure,
the security deposit will be forwarded within 7 days. The
Client is expected to leave the
Property clean and tidy otherwise a charge of €35 will
be requested.
Rental of the Property may be terminated with
no refund at the discretion of the Host if the
Client behaves in a disruptive manner, cause a
nuisance or disturbance, cause damage to the Property
or in any other circumstances deemed unreasonable by the
Host
On the expiry of or termination of rental the Host
may remove all belongings of the Client of the
Property left in the house and store or
otherwise deal with the same as deemed appropriate. Not
withstanding the aforesaid the sole risk in respect of such
belongings shall at all times remain with the Client.
Possession of the Property must be taken
between 15.00hrs and 22.00hrs and the Property
vacated by 11.00am on day of departure. It is recommended that
the Client telephone the Host
in advance to confirm exact time of arrival. FAILURE TO NOTIFY
THE HOST OF LATE ARRIVAL COULD RESULT IN LOSS
OF RESERVATION
The Host is not responsible for any loss of
valuables or effects left in the Property by
the Client during the stay or on departure.
The Host may at all reasonable times visit the
Property.
The number of persons stated on the reservation form can only be
increased by prior arrangement with the Host
Unless agreed by the Host, prior to making a
booking, children under the age of 12 are not normally allowed
*NOTE - PET FRIENDLY:
Dogs are allowed in the Property, but only
after discussion with and the express permission of the Host.
If permission is given, dogs must be kept under strict control,
within the property and the suronding private fields are not
allowed to jump onto the furniture or beds
*NOTE - OPTIONAL EXTRA:
Where the morning housekeeping option is required at €50 per
day, it must be noted that this covers a 2-hour period from,
nominally, 08.00 to 10.00 hours only on any day booked, to cover
cooking breakfast using the Client's
ingredients, and any general housekeeping requirements, possible
within the 2-hour period. The Client may extend
the amount of days and scope of work directly, during their
stay, if required, to include additional catering, housekeeping
and local shopping
In the event of a complaint this must be made to the
Host immediately
In the event that the Client has a special
request relating to a booking, this must be specified in writing
to the Host at the time of booking. Not
withstanding this the Host does not guarantee
such requirement will be facilitated.
RIGHT TO DECLINE: The Property Host
reserves the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even
after receipt of payment. In addition to this, the Host
is relieved of all liability should reserved
accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond
control of the Host. In such an instance,
alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation,
or a full refund will be offered. However, no refund or
liability will apply to a situation where a Client
is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to
the expiration of the booking.
